Overview SQL Power is looking for Intermediate Java developers to join our team developing our No-Code/Low-Code Financial Supervision product suite.
SQL Power's SupTech Hub
- the most powerful and comprehensive Financial Regulatory platform in the world - is made up of four components: a GUI Designer Facility, a Web Portal, a Web Forms rendering component, and an Analytics parser component.
Our goal is to build on and expand our Market Lead, by adding skilled and bright developers that will help evolve the platform, making it more intuitive and more user friendly that even the least technical users can be fully productive using and configuring our platform.
All of the products are Java based and have shared libraries that are developed in house. As the core of each product shares the same design principles, it is fairly easy to get involved with one product and then expand your experience to another. Which product(s) you work on are based on your experience, interest, and workload.

This is a Full Time Position with 5 working days per week, including 4 days working from our beautiful office located in North York and 1 day working remotely.
Must Have Qualifications
5+ years of work experience as a Java Developer
Strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST API
Experience working with applications using Spring REST or Jersey
Experience working with database technologies such as Liquibase or JDBC
Experience working on projects developing and implementing applications for business stakeholders
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to transform business logic described in business requirements into solutions that include integration between servers and databases
A self-starter attitude (e.g., someone who can take initiative to own their project and drive it to completion)
Nice to Have
Swing experience is an Asset
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
