Intermediate Java Developer – Web Applications (Mississauga)

Join Citi as an Intermediate Front End Java Developer and elevate your coding expertise. In this role, you’ll design, create, and maintain innovative web applications using leading technologies.
In this position, you’ll collaborate with the Technology team to build modern and responsive web interfaces using Java and Spring Boot. Your responsibilities will include developing APIs, optimizing applications for speed, and participating in all phases of the development lifecycle. You’ll also ensure high coding standards through regular code reviews and debugging sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Create new features for web applications using Java and Spring
Develop and manage backend services and APIs
Implement engaging interfaces using modern front-end tools
Conduct code reviews to uphold best practices
Troubleshoot and upgrade existing software systems
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience with front-end technologies
Expertise in ReactJS and Redux
Familiar with front-end build tools like npm and yarn
Ability to manage projects effectively under pressure
Robust problem-solving and communication abilities
