As an Intermediate Process Engineer, you will report to the Process/Mechanical Engineering Manager, directly influencing both conceptual and detailed designs. Your responsibilities will encompass process simulations, generating process deliverables, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Collaborating across disciplines is key, along with demonstrating strong analytical skills and a safety-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop process engineering designs for projects
• Conduct process simulations and specify equipment needs
• Generate and review PFDs, P&IDs, and related documents
• Maintain safety standards in engineering practices
• Participate in Process Hazard Analysis with stakeholders
Requirements:
• Registered P.Eng. with APEGA, or eligible
• Minimum five years in engineering design
• Knowledge of CSA Z662, ASME B31.3, API standards
• Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS software
• Experience in gas processing or refinery environments
