Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an offshore Senior Full Stack Developer opening supporting enterprise-scale application development and modernization initiatives. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting modern React and Java/Spring Boot applications, including scalable REST APIs, microservices, and responsive web platforms. The role will play a key part in technical design discussions, architecture decisions, and the delivery of secure, high-performing solutions utilizing OAuth/OpenID Connect authentication frameworks.
The successful candidate will have experience building and supporting cloud-native applications deployed on Kubernetes and OpenShift, developing CI/CD pipelines, and driving automation initiatives across the software delivery lifecycle. Working closely with business stakeholders and global technology teams, this individual will help troubleshoot production issues, improve application scalability and performance, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering best practices. 8+ years of software development experience
Strong Java (17+/21) and Spring Boot ecosystem (Spring MVC, Spring Security)
Expert React 18+, TypeScript, modern front-end architecture
Experience with Redux/Zustand, React Router/TanStack, GraphQL & REST APIs
Strong JavaScript, HTML/CSS, responsive UI development
Authentication experience (JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
Microservices architecture and API development
Node.js / Express experience
Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
CI/CD expertise (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Artifactory)
Linux (RHEL) and shell scripting
SQL experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
Automated testing experience (Jest/Vitest, Playwright, React Testing Library, JUnit)
Ability to contribute to architecture decisions and work independently as a senior engineer Capital Markets or Investment Banking experience
Trading, Market Data, Risk, or Regulatory Technology exposure
Equities, Fixed Income, FX, or Derivatives knowledge
Kafka, IBM MQ, or Solace messaging
Azure and/or AWS
Technical leadership, mentoring, or lead developer experience
Experience with AI-assisted development / agentic coding tools
