Our client in the Northern Suburbs is looking for a young vibrant person to join their software company as an Io T Developer. Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 1 years of professional experience in Io T development advantageous. Proficient in Linux operating system and its various distributions. Strong programming skills in Python. Experience with scripting languages for automation. Familiarity with Io T communication protocols such as MQTT and HTTP. Experience with Io T platforms and frameworks, such as MQTT broker implementations, AWS Io T, Azure Io T, or Google Cloud Io T advantageous. Knowledge of embedded systems development and Teltonika advantageous. Experience with microcontroller programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS). Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, and DHCP. Ability to troubleshoot network-related issues in an Io T context. Knowledge of Io T security best practices. Experience implementing security measures in Io T applications and devices. Familiarity with database systems and ability to design and implement data storage solutions for Io T devices. Understanding of various sensors and actuators commonly used in Io T applications. Experience interfacing sensors and actuators with Io T devices. Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git. Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to document and present technical information clearly. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex Io T systems. Experience in project management methodologies and tools. Ability to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently. Implementing testing strategies for Io T applications, including unit testing and integration testing. Own Transport
