Conduct strategic analysis of the global IP Transit market; understand the demands of OTT, hosting, and CDN clients; formulate IP Transit expansion strategies; lead resource planning to support business development; and enable front‑line teams to identify and capture new opportunities.
Take ownership of major IP‑related projects, coordinate internal (HQ) resources to advance major business opportunities, and lead the development of architectural solutions for IP‑related products (e.g., IP Transit, MPLS).
Conduct operational analysis of IP products using network metrics such as traffic volume, bandwidth utilization, latency, and packet loss to recommend optimization measures and strategic improvements.
Based on market feedback and project reviews, formulate continuous product enhancement suggestions and collaborate with internal technical and support teams to improve overall competitiveness of IP products.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, Software Engineering, Information Management, or related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry/infrastructure providers/system integration companies, with a preference for candidates with product planning or solution design experience.
Strong knowledge of enterprise telecom products (e.g., IP Transit, VPN, SD‑WAN), with proven To‑B experience and solution‑selling expertise.
In‑depth understanding of TCP/IP and related networking protocols; proficient in BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS, MPLS, VPN technologies (e.g., IPsec, SSL), VLAN, QoS, and multicast. Advanced certifications such as CCIE, HCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
Self‑motivated, with strong project‑management skills and team spirit; capable of coordinating multiple resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and embrace new technologies and innovations.
Strong bilingual communication skills (Chinese and English).
