Job Description:
This program manager will coordinate different projects each of which will have their PMs/Junior PMs. This program manager must be excellent in communication and stakeholder management as he will be the conduit to business and IT leadership to prepare reports and communicate on the overall health. Any background on finance/commercial and manufacturing operations will be great.
Skills Required:
- We are looking for IT Project Manager over the course of this year to manage a number of workstream projects in the Digital and Data services area of PSG IT.
- The IT PM should be experienced in managing IT projects with strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work as part of a Program across dependent projects.
- Role Scope / Deliverables: IT Project Manager. Some projects will be one project some may need to split across more than one smaller project.
- Responsible for ensuring IT achieves the approved program goals and vision
- Work in partnership with the Business PM, implement within the IT governance framework
- Provide oversight, coordination, and manage dependencies of IT design, build, and deployment
- Monitors and responds to decisions, issues, and risks at the IT level, escalating to the IT Program Manager, Steering Committee and leadership as necessary
- Creates and executes the IT design, development, and deployment schedule
- Maintains planview schedule and budget
- Be responsible for the overall quality, value, and benefits for the program for IT
- Assists IT with the overall planning of the technical build and monitoring its progress
- Demonstrates visible support to the program and its management team
- Accountable to the executive sponsors for the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of all program components
- Acts as the communications liaison to sponsors and program leadership and conducts status updates
