Product Owner - Hybrid
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role is responsible for maximizing the value of a product by defining its vision and roadmap. The Product Owner will define and prioritize stories in the product backlog, articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and collaborate with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model to ensure alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Define the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction
- Communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and problems
- Create, refine, and prioritize stories in the product backlog for the development team
- Review and accept stories, making on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements
- Work in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Agile tools, specifically Jira
- Working knowledge of the product and a basic understanding of the business or technology domain
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite
- Basic understanding of Core Java
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with requirements gathering
Pay range: $52.54 - $60.54 per hour
