Задачи
- Design, implement, and maintain performant, resilient, and scalable backend services built predominantly in Scala;
- Focus on engineering excellence and coding through hands-on problem-solving and delivery;
- Engage in technical design and implementation to ensure robust, scalable solutions aligned with industry best practices;
- Contribute to all stages of the product engineering life cycle, including solutioning, design, coding, and testing;
- Promote collaboration and transparency within the team to drive high-quality outcomes;
- Take ownership of work and proactively assume responsibilities aligned with product engineering needs;
- Apply LSEG engineering principles to build with purpose and foster technical excellence;
- Create an environment of engagement, challenge, constructive questioning, trust, respect, and strong teamwork.
Требования
- Strong understanding of event-driven microservices architecture, including design pitfalls and best practices;
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architecture principles;
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
- Experience with event-driven communication patterns;
- Expertise in building and maintaining DevOps pipelines, ideally with GitLab;
- Experience with shift-left testing using JUnit, Cucumber, Gherkin, PACT, and Test Containers;
- Working knowledge of Kafka and MQ;
- Advanced Scala programming skills across functional and object-oriented paradigms;
- Practical expertise with Scala, Akka, Play Framework, Cats, and Scalaz;
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade Scala applications in production environments;
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and multithreading;
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases such as Postgres;
- Working knowledge of object storage solutions such as AWS S3;
- Familiarity with Flyway and Liquibase;
- Experience with major public cloud platforms, preferably AWS;
- Hands-on experience with AWS Aurora, MSK, S3, and IAM;
- Basic understanding of cloud networking concepts;
- Strong understanding of and commitment to agile working;
- Experience with Scrum and Kanban;
- Experience participating in sprint ceremonies, including Product Backlog Refinement;
- Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams in scaled agile environments;
- Experience writing applications using Java;
- Experience developing web applications using ReactJS.
