Senior Full Stack Developer (Java / Angular)
Assignment Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test and maintain business-critical software applications. The successful consultant will contribute to the delivery of reliable, scalable and high-quality solutions while working closely with business stakeholders, analysts and technical teams in an Agile environment.
The role encompasses the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design through development, testing, support and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Analysis & Solution Design
- Gather, understand and challenge business requirements.
- Perform technical feasibility assessments and solution analysis.
- Produce technical documentation related to application enhancements and developments.
- Translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions.
- Challenge business analyses and contribute technical expertise during solution design.
Software Development
- Develop new functionalities and enhancements using established development patterns.
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable and scalable software solutions.
- Contribute across the entire backend architecture and technology stack.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of development practices and application architecture.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute unit and integration testing activities.
- Validate solutions against business requirements and quality standards.
- Perform code reviews and peer testing activities.
- Ensure software reliability, stability and performance.
Maintenance & Support
- Analyse and resolve application defects and production incidents.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor application behaviour and implement corrections where necessary.
- Support continuous application evolution and optimization.
Agile Team Participation
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and Scrum practices.
- Collaborate closely with developers, analysts and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Technical Skills
Backend
- Expert knowledge of Java 8+.
- Strong experience with:
- Spring Framework
- Reactive Streams

- Experience developing and maintaining microservices architectures.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and database querying.
Frontend
- Strong experience with recent Angular versions.
- Good knowledge of:
- TypeScript
- HTML5

- OpenID Connect
- Experience with React is considered an asset.

- Oracle

Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven experience in Java development using Spring.
- Strong experience with Angular.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins and Jira.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL and/or DB2 databases.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Professional proficiency in French or Dutch.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with React.
- Experience implementing microservices.
- Understanding of OpenID Connect.
- Experience working with JSON Forms.
- Good oral comprehension of French.
