We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Java ecosystem technologies, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise solutions.
Required Experience
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
Proven experience building enterprise-grade applications using modern Java frameworks and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications.
Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs following industry best practices.
Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Integrate relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka.
Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Deploy and support applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Collaborate with architects, product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure system reliability.
Follow coding standards, security best practices, and software development lifecycle processes.
Working arrangement: 3x onsite per week in Makati
