Java & APIs Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality APIs and microservices, ensuring scalability, security, and stability in production environments, primarily in banking projects.
• Design and develop REST APIs and microservices using Java and modern frameworks.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into efficient backend solutions.
• Implement business logic following microservices architecture principles.
• Define and apply versioning, security, error handling, and API governance standards.
• Integrate services with legacy systems and internal/external platforms.
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with best practices and quality standards.
• Participate in CI/CD processes, deployments, and support in production and non-production environments.
• Analyze logs and incidents for fault diagnosis and correction.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Provide technical support to junior and mid-level professionals.
• Document API services, flows, and contracts.

• Backend Development: Java (8–17+), Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Data, Spring Security, Microservices Architecture, REST APIs (JSON)
• Service Integration: REST Services, SOAP Services (when applicable), Apache Camel (preferred), Spring Cloud (preferred)
• DevOps and CI/CD: Maven, Git (Bitbucket / GitHub), Jenkins, SonarQube, Synopsys Black Duck
• Containers and Platform: Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift
• Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• Development and Collaboration Tools: Postman / SoapUI, Jira, Confluence, IntelliJ / Eclipse
