Role: Java Frontend with Web Application Developer
Location: Chennai
Mode: Full Time
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in Java-based web application development.
Strong hands-on expertise in JSP, Servlets, and traditional Java web frameworks.
Proven experience managing and upgrading Java dependencies using Maven or Gradle.
Proficient with the Eclipse IDE for Java development.
Solid understanding of Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and participation in peer code reviews.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance existing Java web applications built with JSP and traditional frameworks.
Apply secure coding practices , with a focus on identifying and resolving vulnerabilities such as Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and other common web security issues.
Upgrade outdated and vulnerable libraries to ensure application security and stability.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members using Git-based workflows, actively participating in code reviews and pull requests
