Job Description : This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development, and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to best practices in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality RESTful APIs.
- Lead and support API integration efforts across teams.
- Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frameworks.
- Contribute to full‑stack development as needed across front-end and backend components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, distributed Agile teams to deliver features on time.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and profiling.
- Work with build tools such as Maven or Gradle for project automation.
- Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands‑on software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience building and integrating REST API services.
- Strong development skills in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with build tools: Maven or Gradle.
- Proven experience designing and building scalable, secure APIs.
- Familiarity with GitHub and standard Git workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in distributed Agile teams.
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a self-starter mindset.
