Java Application Programmer Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Use Java programing to develop and implement solutions using Sapio LIMS and other informatics platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution
- Review / Test / UAT components and other deliverables. Evaluate and mitigate technical challenges during implementation and customization.
- Lead, coordinate and run independently Demos and Workshops with internal and external clients.
Required Skills :
- Excellent Java Programming skills complemented by an ability to listen to and interpret client requests
- Excellent customer service skills geared towards anticipating clients needs, risk mitigating strategies and results oriented mindset
- Ability to troubleshoot complex instrument and technology issues
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to identify, track and complete tasks for multiple projects
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the company and/or customer’s site safety code
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in computer science, life science or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years of relevant technical experience including (but not limited to) Java Programming, Windows technologies, networking, remote computing and backup systems
- Excellent customer service skills complemented by an ability to listen to and interpret client requests
- Ability to troubleshoot complex instrument and technology issues
- Strong oral and written communication skill in English and Spanish
- Ability to identify, track and complete tasks for multiple projects
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the company and/or customer’s site safety code
- Expertise with multiple programming languages, preferably Java, Python and/or C#
- Experience with scientific instrumentation (preferred)
