Java/AWS Tech Lead

Location: Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA

We are seeking an experienced Java/AWS Tech Lead with 13 15 years of experience in Java application development and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, SQL, and REST API development, along with hands-on experience leading development teams, reviewing code, and driving architectural improvements.

• Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and conduct code reviews.
• Design, develop, and optimize RESTful APIs, including Swagger/OpenAPI implementation.
• Build and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database interactions.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, SonarQube, and Veracode.
• Collaborate with UX, Product, and Design teams to build enterprise authentication applications from scratch.
• Deliver high-quality, testable code with comprehensive unit testing.
• Enforce coding standards, Git workflows, and DevOps best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• 13 15 years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong SQL and database development skills.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Experience implementing Swagger/OpenAPI for REST services.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, and Veracode.
• Strong knowledge of Git workflows and code review processes.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
