Job Title: Java Backend Developer
Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and database technologies. This role involves developing high-performance enterprise applications, building secure APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust business solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and implement RESTful APIs and Microservices-based architectures.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work extensively with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Design and implement database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management activities.
- Support CI/CD processes and contribute to DevOps best practices.
- Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in Java Backend Development.
- Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8 or above) .
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA .
- Extensive experience in developing RESTful APIs and Microservices .
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA for ORM and database interaction.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or messaging frameworks is desirable.
- Knowledge of Git, Maven, Gradle, and build automation tools .
- Good understanding of Multi-threading, Collections, Design Patterns, and JVM concepts .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Preferred Skills Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes .
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms .
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI .
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies .
- Understanding of security best practices and application monitoring tools .
Preferred Experience :
- Building scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot .
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing Microservices Architecture .
- Experience integrating third-party services and APIs.
- Experience working with high-volume transactional systems .
- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in large-scale development projects.
