Iris's Fortune 100 direct client is looking for Senior Java Backend Developer.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot framework
Implement functional programming concepts (Streams, Lambdas, immutability) to build clean and efficient code
Build and maintain event-driven systems using Apache Kafka and MQ (Message Queues)
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable distributed systems
Integrate backend services with MongoDB and ensure optimal data modeling and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA
Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices
Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
