Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of enterprise-scale backend platforms and payment processing systems.
Define architecture standards, coding practices, and technical roadmaps.
Design highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure microservices-based solutions.
Drive system performance optimization, reliability improvements, and technology modernization initiatives.
Mentor development teams through code reviews, technical guidance, and architectural governance.
Collaborate with Product, Business, Security, Infrastructure, and Leadership teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements relevant to financial systems.
Desired profile of the candidate
Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security and other modern java stack technologies
Relational databases like Oracle/Postgre SQL/MYSQL and any No SQL database
Must have experience with REST and XML/JSON/Protobuf
Strong technical knowledge on various streaming frameworks like Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Storm and caching solutions like Memcache/Redis etc
Industry API tooling such as Postman, Castle mock, Apigee, Swagger etc
Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, version control and configuration systems like GITLAB, Jenkins, code quality tools like Sonar Qube, Fortify, Veracode etc
Application security standards like OWASP
Git (Gitlab / Git Hub)
Strong analytical skills, with high problem-solving capabilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Keep up the pace with the latest technology and developments in the industry
Good to Have
Knowledge in the Payments domain
Cloud-Native Design & Containerization (Docker)
Knowledge of AWS (Or any other Cloud Platform)
