Java Backend Developer

Role Summary
We are looking for a strong Java Backend Developer (3–5 years) for Mahindra FDC, Pune. The
candidate must have hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and should
be capable of working independently in a fast-paced Agile environment. Immediate joiners only.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and enhance backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC.
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs & microservices.
• Work on SQL queries, performance optimisation, caching, and data handling.
• Apply DSA, debugging, and problem-solving to improve backend efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and unit testing (JUnit/Mockito).
• Deploy and work with containerised applications (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery.
Technical Skills Required
• Languages: Java 8+, JavaScript (basic good to have)
• Frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring JPA, Hibernate
• Architecture: Microservices, API Gateway, Service Registry, Circuit Breaker, Rate Limiter
• Databases: MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB / Redis
• Tools: Git, Maven/Gradle, Kafka, Docker, Postman
• Cloud (good to have): AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch), Google Cloud (Cloud Run,
GKE)
• Testing: JUnit 5, Mockito, TDD
• Other: Strong understanding of DSA, SOLID principles, CI/CD basics
