Java Backend Developer Kafka / WebFlux / GraphQL
Location: New Albany, OH Hybrid
Duration: 6+Months
We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Kafka, Spring WebFlux, and GraphQL to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable backend applications using reactive programming and modern Java technologies.
Required Qualifications- 3 5 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Kafka, Spring WebFlux, and GraphQL.
- Strong understanding of reactive programming concepts and their application with Spring WebFlux.
- Proven experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with Spring Boot 2.7 or higher.
- Experience with Spring Security 5.x is preferred.
- Understanding of OAuth and JWT is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring technologies.
- Develop reactive applications using Spring WebFlux.
- Design and implement GraphQL APIs for backend services.
- Work with Apache Kafka for event-driven and asynchronous processing.
- Implement secure APIs using Spring Security and related authentication technologies.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Follow best practices for coding, testing, documentation, and application performance.
