We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience in enterprise Java development and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable cloud-native applications, developing microservices, automating CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring technologies.
- Design and implement cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Deploy and manage applications across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes.
- Configure and manage service mesh technologies such as Istio.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Work with messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- 10+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Hibernate and JPA.
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Strong experience with JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or DynamoDB.
- Strong SQL performance tuning and query optimization skills.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Strong understanding of DevOps and SRE principles.
