About the Role We are seeking a skilled Java UI Developer to join our expanding team in Santiago de Compostela. This role involves contributing to the development of mass spectrometry instrument control software. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in Java-based client application development and demonstrate a commitment to knowledge sharing and technical excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java and related technologies.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and related technologies
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems
Share your knowledge and expertise with others, including presenting your work to the team and explaining technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Extensive experience in Java development using the Eclipse framework is a plus.
Familiarity with UI design
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
