Job Title: Senior Java Developer Location: Plano, TX Experience: 10+ Years Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Cloud technologies.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Strong experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security
- Expertise in Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications
- Build and support Microservices-based architectures
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Participate in architecture and design discussions
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience with Kafka, Splunk, and ELK Stack
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
