Java Data Engineer

Role: Java Full Stack Developer + Data Engineer (Hybrid Role)

Location: Reston, VA (Onsite + In‑person interview mandatory)

Type: Full‑time

Experience: 7–12+ yrs

A Hybrid Engineer who combines:

• Java Full Stack (Application Development)
• Data Engineering (Redshift/Postgres/MDM)
• AWS Microservices + DevOps (CI/CD, Terraform)

MUST‑HAVE

Java enterprise development

MDM (Master Data Management)

AWS (ECS, EC2, Lambda)

Microservices architecture

SQL / PL-SQL

Redshift / PostgreSQL

CI/CD (GitLab)

Terraform

STRONG PLUS

• Data integration pipelines
• Data governance concepts
• Enterprise data platforms

NICE TO HAVE

• Banking / enterprise domain
• Data quality frameworks
• ETL / transformation tools

Responsibilities

- Build Java-based enterprise applications

- Develop AWS microservices (ECS, EC2, Lambda)

- Design scalable data solutions using Redshift & PostgreSQL

- Develop SQL / PL-SQL logic

- Build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab

- Manage infrastructure using Terraform

- Support data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
