As a member of the AutoOps Backend team, you will play key roles in developing features and designing systems. You will work with skilled professionals to influence the product’s growth. You will also help define how our customers interact with their data
Write clean, maintainable Java code while adhering to industry best practices. Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards and troubleshoot issues within existing software solutions
Integrate third-party APIs and conduct unit and integration testing to ensure reliability. Develop and implement the necessary business and infrastructure logic for the ELK stack
Implement RESTful services to enable effective system communication. Ensure data consistency and integrity throughout the integration process. Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and develop strategies for integrating the ELK stack with various data sources
Tackling difficult issues, including performance or concurrency issues, and proposing solutions
Leverage AI tools as an integral part of your daily workflow to improve productivity, accelerate problem solving, and deliver high quality results while applying sound engineering judgment
Owning operational investigations end-to-end, until performance or stability issues are successfully resolved

Requirements

Experience with designing and implementing RESTful services
A proven track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug complex systems, and optimize code, while still owning the final outcomes
Willingness to dive into new issues and ask for help when you need it
Knowledge in system design and architecture
Experience with operational investigations, resolving stability issues and have the ability to troubleshoot performance and concurrency issues
3+ years experience in Java programming language
The ability to collaborate across functions and teams and seamlessly transition between different projects, codebases, or teams based on business priorities
Basic knowledge in any relational database with a preference to Postgres
Work autonomously, drive decisions and result in a distributed team by leveraging asynchronous, direct, and transparent communication
Familiarity with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
