Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build responsive front-end interfaces with Angular
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-native applications on AWS
- Write efficient SQL queries and manage relational data for test data management workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, well-tested features
Typical task breakdown:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build responsive front-end interfaces with Angular
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-native applications on AWS
- Write efficient SQL queries and manage relational data for test data management workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, well-tested features
Interaction with team:
- Overall team consists of 15 folks. Split into 3 smaller treams
- This role will be on 1 of those 3 teams and grow into the lead role eventually.
- This role could also end up becoming a full time employee.
Education & Experience Required:
- 2-4 years experience in this capacity
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in CS or similar industry
Required Technical Skills
(Required)
- 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Dynamo, RDS)
- Solid SQL and relational database skills
- Front-end development experience with Angular
- Sound understanding of REST APIs, CI/CD, and Agile practices
