Job Description
Client is seeking an experienced Java Developer with Broadridge platform expertise to join its technology team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java development along with working knowledge of Broadridge financial platforms supporting capital markets, wealth management, or securities processing. This is a fully onsite role requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders and development teams.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong experience with Broadridge platform (GMI, BPS, Impact, Gloss, or related Broadridge products).
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong SQL skills with Oracle or SQL Server.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as JMS or Kafka.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications integrated with Broadridge platforms.
- Build and enhance REST APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Integrate Broadridge applications with enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Create technical documentation and support deployment activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Brokerage, or Securities Processing.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
