Senior Java Developer (Calypso)

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills and hands-on experience with the Calypso platform, preferably in capital markets, trading, or banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Calypso.
• Customize and enhance Calypso workflows, interfaces, and business processes.
• Integrate Calypso with external systems and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, traders, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Calypso development and customization.
• Knowledge of financial products, trading, and capital markets.
• Experience with REST APIs, messaging systems, and system integrations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in investment banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
