The Opportunity
You'll design, develop, and maintain a Web API platform that delivers real-time, mission-critical services to third parties, clients, and client-facing applications. As a member of the Web API team, you'll shape the platform's direction and take on new challenges as the team grows.

Your Day-to-Day
- Partner with business and internal teams to add new features and interfaces
- Write backend services and clients that expose internal services to consuming applications
- Design and implement RESTful web services supporting real-time operations
- Build and maintain WebSockets-based real-time communication features
- Write documentation and regression tests for new interfaces
- Provide third-level support for the platform
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 7-15 years of proven experience as a Java Developer, with expertise in Java, Spring, and Vert.x
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative code management
- Strong command of RESTful web service design and implementation
- Experience with JUnit or similar frameworks for unit and integration testing
- Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication in a Java environment
- Solid grounding in software development principles and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS is a plus
- Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus
