This prestigious MNC Bank is looking for a Java Developer with expertise and experience in Java development and SQL Database experience to join its dynamic business here in Hong Kong. Your new role
• Develop and modernise portfolio accounting services using Java, Spring, and REST APIs.
• Build scalable, reusable backend components and event-driven workflows.
• Work with global teams across India, Hong Kong.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and improve performance of data-intensive systems.
• Partner with QA, product, and architecture teams to deliver end-to-end features.
What you'll need to succeed
• Strong experience in Core Java, multithreading, and backend engineering.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices.
• Good understanding of SQL(DB2), data models, and distributed systems.
• Solid grasp of OOP, design patterns, and debugging.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with financial systems or portfolio/ledger workflows.
• Exposure to Kafka, NoSQL stores, Docker/Kubernetes, or cloud-native apps.
