Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid - 44 King St. 9th Floor, Toronto.
Contract Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension & conversion to FTE).
Number of Positions: 1
Schedule: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week
Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills
- Strong complex problem‑solving skills
- 10+ years of full stack development experience (Java, NodeJS, SQL, NoSQL)
- 5+ years of cloud and containerised development experience
- 5+ years of Agile and SDLC experience
- Cloud solution deployment experience (GCP, Azure)
- Docker container experience
- Kubernetes experience
Nice‑to‑have Skills
- Active Directory / Entra ID integration focusing on SSO
- Experience with application security tools (Checkmarx, Snyk, Wiz)
- AI agentic experience (MCPs, agents, skills, RAG)
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate can work independently with stakeholders to implement solutions from design, constantly update design, takes initiative, is a strategic thinker, identifies solutions, and has experience with cloud‑native protection tools. The best candidates will have used these tools themselves and understand how they work, are solid independent developers with programming and automation expertise.
