Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Design, develop, and maintain Microservices-based applications.
• Build highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance backend services.
• Integrate with Core Banking Systems, payment gateways, and third-party enterprise platforms.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance and database queries.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and frontend developers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Spring Boot
  • Spring MVC
  • Spring Security
  • Spring Data JPA / Hibernate
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Strong SQL and database design skills.
• Experience with Git, Maven, or Gradle.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and Clean Architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Docker & Kubernetes
• RabbitMQ / Kafka
• Redis
• API Gateway (Spring Cloud Gateway, Kong, or similar)
• Spring Cloud (Config Server, Eureka, OpenFeign, Circuit Breaker)
• OAuth2, JWT, Keycloak, or other Identity & Access Management solutions
• CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with banking, fintech, or enterprise applications
• Knowledge of secure software development practices (OWASP)
