We are currently seeking an experienced Software Developer Freelance for a multinational consulting client delivering projects across Europe.
Roles: Senior Software engineer
Start date: July 2026
Contract: Freelance / Autonomo
Location: hybrid in Málaga, 2-3 days a week. If based elsewhere in Andalucía and can travel to Málaga for 2–3 consecutive days every two weeks it would be considered
Languages: Spanish and English B2 - meetings are in English
Type of project: Platform integration
Requirements:
- Experience with Java development. (Spring Framework, to be more specific, but it's not critical)
- Experience with databases, preferably Postgres
- Experience with developing secure high throughput APIs, x thousands of calls per second.
- Experience in developing solutions in the cloud, preferably GCP
- Open to late evening work and ok to take part in oncall rotation
