What You will be doing:
- Be a proactive, independent contributor within a distributed development team.
- Quickly adapt to new technologies and frameworks to meet the project's needs.
- Maintain and manage a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
What you will likely bring
- At least 5 years of commercial software development experience in back-end or full-stack roles.
- Expertise in Kotlin and Java 8+.
- Proficiency in the Spring Boot framework.
- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands‑on experience with both microservice and monolithic architectures.
- The ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in unit/integration testing, with a good understanding of testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Mocking, and Test Containers.
- Strong understanding of clean code principles and design patterns.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
What could set you apart
- Familiarity with Spring Cloud and microservices architecture.
- Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of containerization with Kubernetes and Redis as a data store.
- Experience with front-end development frameworks like Vaadin 8+ and familiarity with JavaScript/CSS.
