Senior Java Developer for FX Options

In this senior position, you will lead the technical delivery of enhancements and defect fixes during North America business hours. Your role includes end-to-end ownership involving analysis, design, testing, and ensuring production outcomes like resilience and performance. Collaborating with product owners and quant teams, you'll manage technical decisions and trade-offs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own enhancements and defect fixes for FX Option Risk System
• Lead end-to-end technical ownership including testing and validation
• Translate business needs into practical solutions
• Ensure resilience, performance, and security of production
• Conduct root-cause analysis to reduce incidents
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with Java backend systems
• Strong with Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices
• Proven delivery with distributed teams across time zones
• Good communication skills with technical and non-technical teams
• Strong testing discipline with CI/CD exposure
