Java Lead Developer With GCP
Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite) Experience: 1215 Years Visa: GC / USC / EAD's / TN only (No H1B)

We are urgently hiring a Java Lead Developer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for a critical onsite engagement based in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical leadership, hands-on development skills, and extensive experience building scalable cloud-native applications. This is a high-priority role, and we are looking for immediate joiners who are ready to make an impact from Day 1.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance, secure, and scalable Java-based applications on GCP.
- Collaborate closely with architects, DevOps engineers, and product stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive end-to-end project delivery while ensuring adherence to best coding practices, quality standards, and timelines.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and actively participate in code reviews.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and cloud-native service integrations.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance on GCP.
Must-Have Skills:
- 1215 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and IAM.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture.
- Strong command over SQL/NoSQL databases, including Cloud SQL, Firestore, or Bigtable.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Spinnaker.
- Proven experience in leading development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good to Have:
- GCP Certification (Associate or Professional Cloud Developer/Architect).
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (GKE).
- Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform or Deployment Manager).
