Senior Java Developer - German Speaker

We are looking for a
Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and Camunda to join our team. In this role, you will help design, build, and maintain applications for our Master Data Management systems, ensuring the highest levels of consistency, availability, and correctness of customer and master data.
What You’ll Do:
− Develop and maintain applications in the field of Master Data Management.
− Analyze new software requirements, assessing feasibility and complexity.
− Design interfaces (APIs) and data models for modern Spring Boot applications running in a Kubernetes environment.
− Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, including appropriate unit and integration tests.
− Collaborate closely with delivery team members to ensure smooth development and delivery.
− Contribute to the continuous improvement of software quality and engineering practices.
What You Bring
− Several years of hands-on experience with Java and Camunda.
− Proven knowledge of Spring Boot, plus experience with related technologies (Angular, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Data Flow, etc.).
− Strong background in database modeling and writing SQL queries.
− Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures.
− Familiarity with software engineering best practices (clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns, TDD, testing strategies, etc.).
− Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
− Experience in banking compliance processes is a strong advantage.
− Willingness to build up business knowledge alongside technical expertise.
− Familiarity with tools such as GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD is a plus.
− Strong analytical and communication skills, proactive mindset, and hands-on mentality.
− Motivation to work in a Scrum team and continuously improve both personally and professionally.
