Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid - 44 King St. 9th Floor, Toronto.
Contract Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension & conversion to FTE).
Number of Positions: 1
Schedule: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week.
Candidate Requirements / Must have Skills
- Strong complex problem‑solving skills.
- 10+ years of full stack development experience (Java, NodeJS, SQL, noSQL).
- 5+ years of Cloud and Containerized development experience.
- 5+ years Agile and SDLC experience.
- Cloud solution deployment experience (GCP, Azure).
- Experience with Docker containers.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
Nice‑to‑have Skills
- Active Directory / Entra ID integrations focusing on SSO.
- Experience with Application Security Tools (Checkmarx, Snyk, Wiz).
- AI Agentic experience (MCPs, Agents, Skills, RAG).
Ideal Candidate
Someone who can work independently with stakeholders to implement solutions from design, constantly able to update design – crucial: taking initiative, solid problem solver, strategic thinker, and can identify solutions; experience with using cloud native protection tools. The best candidates will have used the tools themselves, understand how they work, be a strong independent developer, with programming and automation expertise.
