84 months of experience in the design, implementation and deployment of Java applications using modern Javascript libraries. Experience with healthcare data intake, data warehousing, or submitter tracking systems is preferred.

84 months of experience with relational and NoSQL databases (like Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc). Experience with healthcare claims, member enrollment, or facility data is preferred.

84 months experience in programming Oracle WebLogic Java applications from specifications expressed by use cases, class diagrams, interaction diagrams and sequence diagrams

84 months experience using SPRING framework

84 months experience with cloud services like AWS etc, setting up CI/CD pipelines, able to run microservices for onPrem architecture

Detailed Job Description: The Software Developer will support various healthcare data projects within the Center for Health Data Innovation (CHDI). CHDI is responsible for data collection and data warehousing for several major systems, including the Statewide Planning and Research Cooperative System (SPARCS) and the All-Payer Database (APD). The SPARCS system has been in operations since 1982, collecting data from 400+ facilities, bringing in 40+ million discharge-level transactions a year, and warehouses 40+ calendar years of data. The All-Payer Database (APD) system has been in operations since 2018, collecting data from 80+ insurers, bringing in 800+ million claim-level transactions a year and warehouses at present 7 calendar years of data. The data content integrity and operations of these systems is critical to the day-to-day operations and management of health care facilities, health care programs, public and private health insurance products; and research on health care services, outcomes, and cost.
