Job Description / Responsibilities
- Involve in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment
- Hands-on Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes experience
- Experience in development leveraging GitHub Copilot and Claude Code
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
- Adds value to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality, and actively learns new skills
Required Skills
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, Spring Security
- Very strong in Kafka
- Self-learner; takes ownership of deliverables without micromanagement
- Proficiency in using Claude Code and GitHub Copilot for development
- Good experience in SQL, Oracle DB, performance tuning
- Build and deployment tools like Jenkins
- Strong communication skills and experience delivering projects in Scrum Agile methodology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter, quick learner, detail-oriented
Preferred Skills
- Banking domain knowledge
- Knowledge of banking ISO / SWIFT standards
