Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based application development and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Java applications and microservices.
- Build scalable and high-performance solutions using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and development teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Implement best practices for software development, security, and cloud architecture.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Support CI/CD initiatives and DevOps practices.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.
Required Skills
Must Have
- Strong experience in Java development (Java 8/11/17 or higher).
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.
- Expertise in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in version control tools like Git.
Good to Have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
