Position Title: Java Software Developer
Level: Mid to Senior
Location: Chantilly/Reston
DescriptionCandidate will work closely with a diverse client project team responsible for architecting, building, maintaining, deploying, and/or administering mission software and web applications. The development environment is fast-paced, spans the full application stack, and increasingly leverages agile development methodologies, modern development tools and processes, and an expanding cloud-based infrastructure. Responsibilities include: identify system scope and objectives; determine system equipment capacity, operating parameters, and throughput; prepare detailed specifications; design, code, test, and debug; perform quality assurance reviews; contribute to development of security authorization documentation; represent program in design reviews and demonstrations; and mentor junior developers.
Qualifications- Clearance: Positions require U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
- Degree: Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely-related Engineering or IT discipline
- Certifications: None required
- Experience: Minimum 7 years (at least 3 years in the IC) developing, securing, integrating, deploying, maintaining, and evaluating software and systems
- Full application stack systems analysis and software/application development life cycle based on modern agile development practices
- Object-oriented programming development concepts and design patterns
- Programming Languages: Java, Javascript, SQL, Regex, XML
- Frameworks: Spring, Spring MVC or equivalent
- Cloud: AWS/C2S
- Databases/Indexing/Analytics: Oracle 10g/11g, JDBC, Hadoop, SOLR
- Authentication: LDAP, Active Directory
- Software Configuration Management: SVN, ANT, Eclipse
- Infrastructure: Weblogic, Apache Tomcat
