What You'll Be Doing
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
Build new features while enhancing the performance, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle, including technical analysis, development, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
Collaborate with international engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Support production releases and work closely with Production Support teams to ensure platform stability.
Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Provide Level 3 (L3) support when required, helping resolve complex production issues.
What We're Looking For
Degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong experience with Java 21+.
Solid knowledge of the Spring Framework.
Experience with relational databases and SQL.
Experience with messaging technologies and asynchronous communication.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Maven, Shell scripting, and JavaScript.
Experience understanding business requirements and software testing practices.
Comfortable working with large, enterprise-level codebases and contributing to their continuous evolution.
Experience working in Agile teams and collaborative software development environments.
Nice to Have
Experience in Frontend or Full Stack Development (Angular and/or jQuery).
Knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking, particularly Cash Equities or Structured Products.
Experience with distributed systems and enterprise integration patterns.
