Java Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Backend Java Developer with strong debugging, troubleshooting, and security remediation experience. This role focuses on enhancing and maintaining critical applications, addressing security vulnerabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend Java applications.
• Perform application debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Address security findings, vulnerability remediation, dependency upgrades, and framework upgrades.
• Implement feature enhancements and bug fixes within Java applications.
• Work closely with teams to investigate and resolve production issues.
• Manage remediation efforts through JIRA tickets and dashboards.
• Document findings, track progress, and ensure timely closure of security issues.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to support application stability and security.

Must Have

• 3+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong backend development expertise.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with security vulnerability remediation and dependency/framework upgrades.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA for tracking and managing work items.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Cloud Foundry experience.
• Application security and secure coding practices.
• Experience with monitoring dashboards and alerting tools.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools.
