We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions while collaborating with a talented team in a dynamic environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects and use the latest technologies to deliver impactful results.
Responsibilities
- Write, improve, and maintain high-quality code
- Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability
- Conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards and best practices
- Follow established practices, including code reviews, unit testing, CI, and other development best practices
- Participate in SCRUM ceremonies to align with team objectives and workflows
- Contribute to estimation and planning sessions for project timelines and deliverables
- Mentor junior developers and collaborate with peers to enhance team performance
- Stay open to learning and adopting new technologies as needed
Requirements :
- At least 2 years of experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Java programming
- Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Proficiency in working with Apache Kafka for data streaming and messaging
- Experience with JUnit for unit testing
- Familiarity with SQL for database management and querying
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Background in Financial Services, particularly in wealth management
- Experience with Databricks for big data and analytics solutions
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT solutions for data integration and transformation
