Role: Java Developer
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: Contract
Job Description:
- Java Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java (version 17 or newer).
- API Development: Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs utilizing Spring Boot.
- Messaging Architecture: Required: Deep expertise in Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and message streaming. (Familiarity with TIBCO or other brokers is a plus, but Kafka is mandatory).
- AI & Agentic Systems: Hands-on experience developing with LLMs (specifically Claude), including building Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, creating agent skills, and designing AI-driven workflows.
- Database Management: Hands-on experience with both relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL/search data stores (Elasticsearch, Couchbase).
- Cloud & Containerization: Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Engineering Best Practices: Demonstrated commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
- System Architecture: Strong foundation in scalable system design and distributed systems.
