Salary: R80 000 per month.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and build Java integration services and enterprise applications within a banking setting. Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, planning, implementation, and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and craft innovative solutions. Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of applications. Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing systems. Adhere to Agile (SCRUM) methodologies and contribute to team efforts. Provide technical guidance and mentorship where needed.
Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of Java application development experience. At least 4 years of JEE experience. Strong background in application architecture, design, and deployment. Extensive hands-on experience with Web Sphere Application Server, J2 EE, and related open-source frameworks. Proficiency in web technologies such as Angular (preferably Angular 4), Java Script, HTML5, and CSS. Solid knowledge of SOA architecture, Web Services (SOAP/XML), REST, and MQ protocols. Experience with high-volume databases including SQL, DB2, and No SQL databases such as Cassandra or Mongo DB. Familiarity with virtualization, caching technologies, and deployment automation. Proven problem-solving skills and a self-driven attitude. Relevant certifications and a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Familiarity with the following: Eclipse, Intelli J, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar Qube, Nexus. Web Sphere Message Broker, Data Power, API-Connect. Application migration to Web Sphere Application Server.
