Your New Role:As a Java Developer, you will provide technical expertise across the design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support of modern software solutions. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality back-end applications, influencing engineering best practices, and collaborating with architects, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.Developing, maintaining, testing, and debugging back-end software services and components.Collaborating with architects, development teams, and stakeholders to align solutions with architectural standards and business requirements.Analysing business requirements and designing scalable technical solutions.Developing modern microservices and RESTful APIs.Diagnosing production issues and implementing enhancements and fixes.Building and maintaining testing and validation processes.Deploying solutions using SecDevOps practices and cloud-native delivery approaches.Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and mentoring team members on engineering best practices.
What You Will Need To Succeed:Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience.Strong experience in back-end development using Java, Kotlin and/or C#.Exposure to Python development would be highly regarded.Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and web services.Experience with microservices architecture.Cloud platform experience across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.Knowledge of event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka.Experience working with containerised and/or serverless solutions.Kubernetes Operator development experience will be advantageous.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to work in an evolving environment.
