Job Category QuinStreet is looking for a top-notch Jr to Mid-level Java Engineer to join the 360 Finance team, which is developing a Point-of-Sale Financing product.
Responsibilities - Work very closely with QA engineers, architects, and tech leads on several projects at a time.
- Solve technical problems and handle performance/scalability issues on a day-to-day basis.
- Perform requirements analysis, high-level design, effort estimation for new business requirements and feature enhancements- Work in an environment where you will perform requirement analysis and high-level design.
- Communicate and participate in business discussions with business users, UX designers, and product managers.
- Participate in daily stand-up calls with the team.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
Experience - 4+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java with knowledge of Object-Oriented Design- Enterprise Java development experience with Core Java, Java 8 and above, JPA/Hibernate, Oracle SQL/MySql, and Spring Boot is a plus- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with an RDBMS like MySQL- Experience working in a UNIX and/or LINUX environment- Experience working with an industry-standard version control/software configuration management system like Perforce- Knowledge of JSON, REST API, and one or more widely used JavaScript libraries- Experience in web user interface design and development- Experience with unit testing frameworks and testing practices like Junit.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0 JWT (good to have).
